Help Samsung AppMonitor

rcmerlin

Lurker
I keep hear of and seeing reviews where Samsung's AppMonitor is shown. I'm looking for a good application monitor, but I cannot find a copy to actually download. It is no longer included in the stock build (Mine from At&T)

I can find it on the Samsung App website, samsungapps dot com + topApps/topAppsDetail.as?categoryId=G000014699&productId=000000431717

There (under "How to get") it says: "Download the application via the device or Samsung Kies". But I cannot not find it on the Samsung App on the Note 2, nor using a mobile browser at the SamsungApps dotcom site.

Can anyone post a copy of this app or tell me where I can download it.
Thanks

If it lets you download it onto the device you won't find it under apps because it's a widget. Long press on the screen select widgets and you'll find it.

Hmm. Its stock on mine, I'm guessing your carrier has messed with it. You can still access it though by long pressing the middle home key and click the left button, it will take you to the same screen that the widget would have done.

Thanks for the tip,
Welcome to AT&T...
I'd still like to have the AppMonitor widget or some other widget that could keep me informed on how many apps are running.

Problem is that I cannot find a place to download it from. the Samsung App does not show a download optlon.

IF....if...if you have not found out yet!

It is NO button. Click it on the "Free" or the price button/image.;)
Based on my experienced, pressing the home button then click the trash can image is much cleaner because it closes/cleans both active and in-active applications.

What made you dig up this year old thread? :p

..because I just got my N2 last week..."old" for you but "new" for me...lol.

Hey...you are phillies too.! I am in S Philly.

Btw, which one you prefer to close them, the "pressing home" button or "application monitor"? and why..

I think for some, to do it using a widget or shortcut helps minimize wear and tear on the physical home button. I do the same by having access to app monitor and recent apps on my home screen.
