Root Samsung attain mms.apk. Can somebody get it working for me?

I was wondering if it's possible to put it on my phone.

Edit: I have the mms.apk but I don't know how to get it to work. Help would be appreciaited.

If you decompile it and edit the config file to match mpcs you may be able to.

try it or send it my way and I can mess with it if you dont know how.

it was tried on 2.3.6 update and did not function on mms ,but that was why it was attempted. hope you get better with 2.3.4.. freeze old messaging apks with tb (or just save on sd) and rootexployer the others to sys/apps/dir and the programs from 2.3.6 thread for market, network, and apn setups. if it flys great if not erase the new ones and restore old ones and default your apns again. and remember airplane mode is a warm comm reset so it will help you during testing your progress.

but since the attain is also with metro wouldn't there be no need for that? I was thinking I was just gonna let my friend back up his messaging apks and then I get the backup
