Help Samsung behold 2 comes with android 1.6? Does it mean anything to us?

In the latest screen shots, you can clearly see that the Google search widget supports voice search, a feature of 1.6 if I'm not mistaken?

Do you think it mean we could expect a 1.6 upgrade for the galaxy?

The one thing that annoys me about Samsung is the lack of information about future upgrades...

thats actually a good sign i think, the ui does look different and skinned like samsung have been going to work with it.

this is not quite the same as official donut search bar. i guess they modified only the search bar and stayed on 1.5.

That Google bar (on the Behold) looks just like mine (stock 1.5). The voice search plugin is on the market, I've had it pretty much since day one.

I can't find anything on the market like that.

I thought that the Google Voice Search was added in the 1.6 version, and it seems it was already added in the 1.5 version...

So now the question is where can I get it?

Is one of the marketplace apps by Google, Actually called "Google Search by voice" (Currently Version 1.3, 434K)

I can't seem to find on them on the market (even with market enabler) and after researching the subject a bit, there are more pepole who don't have access to these apps so after digging around for a few times I've found the Apks in the HTC Dream recovery image 1.5.

After downloading and installing the 2 files I've only received error messages for both functions on my Galaxy XXIH7.

What's weird about the whole thing is that I used to have the voice search before I updated the firmware. After updating I could no longer find it on the market.. and now that I've found the installation files.. they don't work for me.
