Personally, I don't like using apps for things I can do on my own. Like creating and setting custom sounds. For my money, this is the way to go...

First, you'll need the audio file on you PC. Here are some links to the audio clip I think you're wanting. Slightly different sounding, so take your pick.

When you save those files, make sure they have a logical name, cause that is what it will show up as on your phone. Now get on your phone and go into My Files > DCIM, open the menu and hit create folder. Name this folder 'Notifications', that's the important part.

Now all you need to do is transfer the audio file onto your phone, and into the folder you just created. Once you've done that, all you have to do is go into the settings and change the notification alert like you normally would. If all went well, you should see the new file in the list like it was any other stock sound.

The sky is pretty much the limit with this method. Just about any audio file you put in that folder can be set as your notification sound. This also works for ringtones. Simply create a folder names 'Ringtones' instead.

I just did mine to do the same thing using zedge. You have to open your message icon, select settings, scroll down to where it says set ringtones. Just setting notifications won't do it.
