Samsung Charge Announced - Data Plan Cost?

What is your interpretation of this? I think the $29.99 Unlimited data may be around for a while but it is certainly vague.

"DROID Charge customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan and a 4G LTE data package. Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 monthly access. Unlimited 4G LTE data packages start at $29.99 monthly access. Mobile Hotspot feature will be included for a limited time at no additional charge."
 
Vague about what? It seems like a basic product description. I doubt they'd purposely put in there some notice that data plans will soon become tiered, or whatever.

When is the Charge coming out? If it's soon, I wouldn't expect them to draw attention to tiered data, anyway. Rumors indicate that tiered data is something that'd start in summer time, so if the Charge is coming out within the next few weeks, they're not going to mentioned tiered data when that's still a couple months off.

Verizon has always offered a more expensive unlimited data package for phones than the $29.99 one.

Unlimited 4G LTE data packages start at $29.99 monthly access...you missed how it said unlimited not just data plans starting at $. Omg did you guys see that the Charge is going to be $299 with a 2 year contract!!! holy crap way over priced its outrageous. if they are charging that much for this phone....im scared for the Bionic, not that i care because i am more than satisfied with my outstandingly amazingly incredible Thunderbolt.

Was it not rumored that the Thunderbolt was going $299 with a two year as well... then on release day it ended up being $199. I can only assume that the same holds true for the Charge

Yea except this wasn't a rumor but an official announcement. Lol at 299 for this thing.
 
$299?! Oh my...That is ridiculously pricey. It's not even dual core. And if I am not mistaken, it doesn't look good physically at all? Nothing compared to the TB or other phones on VZW...

The ONLY thing this has over the TB is a super amoled plus screen. Thats it the Inc is way sexier in every way!
 
yeah this thing lost me when I heard it was going to have the same processor as the Fascinate. NO THANK YOU, that phone is a piece of crap. We sold three times as many Droid Xs at Christmas time as we did Fascinates. And I still see three times as many issues with the Fascinate vs. the Droid X. I believe the 299.99 price is being justified because of the inclusion of an inductive battery charging back that comes with the phone. Hence the name "charge". Still not worth it. Agreed on amoled technology. All the colors have a tron-like "glow" to them. I hate that
