Samsung Epic (Evo competitor) preorders begin tomorrow (according to XDA)

I wasnt referring to the colors of the screen "looking nice". I was referring to the video playback, and how it was NOT choppy or rough like the original poster said.

With that said, my GF has the new Samsung Vibrant (with AMOLED), and yes I can compare her screen to mine, and it is nice, but those AMOLED screens do not reproduce TRUE whites. They usually look gray or washed-out blue.

The whites on my EVO are extremely bright, FWIW.

I could say the same about the Evo. It cannot produce true blacks or whites. Whites look like bone color. Since the screen is 16bit it lacks a lot of detail in dark areas. That was the first thing I noticed when I had it and at that point I didn't know the screen was 65K. Certain images also produce banding.
