Copied from another source (Jamex over on androidcentral). Hopefully this includes the Epic and we can get this device in our hands soon.

Well I am not 100% sure but it seems that way. There are two i9000 variants that cleared FCC on Friday. I think one is the Epic and the other is the Verizon version. I could be wrong.

We here at Engadget Mobile tend to spend a lot of way too much time poring over the latest FCC filings, be it on the net or directly on the ol' Federal Communications Commission's site. Since we couldn't possibly (want to) cover all the stuff that goes down there, we've gathered up all the raw info you may want (but probably don't need). Enjoy!

FCC Fridays -- Engadget Mobile

:::Cough, Cough::: iPhone did it in 9 days ::::Cough, Cough::: ;)

The iphone is the iphone. Already has an image established in the market. Plus it had already been leaked months in advance. The Evo was announced on May 12 and came out June 4. Just over three weeks. I expect the Epic to take 2-3 weeks.
