Hi there,
I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Europa GT i5500 in the UK as a sim only phone. I am now in Canada and hope that I can use my android with Wind Mobile or another decent mobile company.
I was told that my phone has to have an AWS of 1700 - 2100 imt in order to be compatible with WIND and have no idea how to find this out or really what that even means. My phone has been defaulted to the Rogers wireless since I arrived here and I hope this does not mean that I will be limited in which mobile networks I can use.
If anyone can please tell me how to find the AWS number or what the spectrum band use is on my phone, I would greatly appreciate it!!
Take care,
Colleen
