Wondering if there is anyway to use the regular phone pad instead of a whole keyboard on this phone. I cant figure out how to change it. Is there an ap, something on the settings or is it just not possible on this phone? Thanks!

By regular phone pad, I would assume you meant alphanumeric? like the ones on the old phones? go to menu>settings>locale and text>samsung keyboard>portrait keyboard types>choose the 3x4 keyboard.

Yes that is the keyboard I am looking for but when I go to menu and settings the next option you said is not there. I can go under language and Keyboard and it only gives me the option to change it to swype and android keyboard and neither one of those is it.
