OK so its 2am here so my GeekGrandma cant scold me yet:p

BTW, guys geeknik but out the fastest kernel I've ever used no jokes. Its just 1Ghz no voodoo but this was faster than any OC'd voodoo kernel I've tried and you know me Ive tried them all :D

Hook it up at mod a droid or xda. So fast its silly, my LP is fully loaded in a flash widgets included.

I probably would prefer to use gTalk over anything, but all my friends are on MSN, and I like being able to see their complete setup. (Tried Pidgin, but some of the display pictures weren't showing up.)
And no way, Hunts tastes way too tomato-y. However, on the rare occasion I eat McDonald's fries, it must be warm Hunts ketchup, or it tastes funny.

Haha, yeah. I definitely thought of that right after I posted it :). I've never tried gTalk, but like I said I rarely use IM anyway. The ketchup should be tomato-y, it's made from them :p

I completely agree. I just read one thread on xda this morning where adryn subtly owned someone who realized after the fact. I was glad it wasn't me.

I saw this kernel on xda this morning so I'm disabling voodoo as I type with the intent of running geeknik's kernel. I think I borked though because it has been at least 1.5 hours since I heard my boot sound and the soft keys are lit but nothing shows. From what I understand, it shouldn't take THAT long :rolleyes:. Looks like I finally joined the club saps :o
 
my petpeeve now: my old enemy 1 click phone root has reared its ugly head in the form of z4root

normally im very pleasant on forums, but i think sarcastic/irritable/semi-nasty me will be popping up now with some posts.....:mad:

but ill try to avoid that :o

Well I cannot say good but two things.
1. yes you should be able to do a full restore and return to stock and then get back to almost where you were easily within an hour and maybe even a lot faster
2. I've had a room reserved for you at the Inn for some time now ;)

yes you can do it a few ways manually, you can go into contacts and edit or you can go into the music player and assign, either works, kinda depends on whether you wanna work with people and give them music or work with music and give them people :p

I really appreciate this forum. I can only speak for the Fascinate section since that's where I hang, but everyone is nice and helpful and cheerful. There isn't the snarkiness and bashing that seems to go on at most other forums.

I very muchly appreciate that and just wanted to thank everyone for making it such a pleasant place to hang out.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
(I was going to say, "We now return control of your television set to you," but realized that I'd be dating myself and too many people might not get the Outer Limits reference.)

Ugh I see what the problem is, I have all my contacts saved in google and not in the phone...PAIN!

I have NO idea why the Fascinate won't let you do this. I could do it just fine on my Eris without having to have the contacts saved in my phones. Grrr. Probably just another stupid TouchWiz limitation.

Yeah ladies I concur it really sucks that you can only give a ringtone to a phone and not a google contact
