Samsung Galaxy Ace II memory

Hi
I've looked at previous threads on this subject and cannot solve with my phone. Basically when trying to access either music files or photos - both stored on the 32GB memory card, i receive this msg ' not enough memory. Delete some items'
There are precious few photos and there is ample memory remaining on the card.
I do not access any of the applications have barely turned on the internet since buying the phone 3 months ago. I've turned most applications off (such as Google/software update/) and still no joy its mad, I've not changed the phone at all and this is infuriating, please help.

On another matter - much simpler, due to habits from previous phone I often finish a call by pressing the return to main menu button and this doesn't end the call. At this point it appears impossible to return to the 'unended' call so I have to turn the phone off and back on again. Any tips please

many thanks
Andy

Hello Andy!
I moved your thread here to your device forum so others can help out:)

So you receive that message when you try to access your music files or pix? That is odd.
I assume this is on your external card?
Forgive me as I don't have your device but that is what is sounds like.

TRY THIS, GO TO APPLICATIONS, TASK MANAGER THEN STORAGE. YOU WILL PROBABLY FIND THE USB STORAGE IS FULL NO IDEA WHY THIS HAPPENS. Mine has done this three times now. the easy fix is go to settings, storage usb storage. there you can see how much memory is left and also format it if you find its full. dont forget to back your phone up first as all files in the usb storage will be lost taking this action. good luck hope this helps you.
