Samsung galaxy note ics update

Has anyone tried the file linked by bocautrang?

What is the installation procedure?

TIA!
Its CyanogenMod 9 experimental Build and not meant for every day usage- Alot still nor working and very buggy.

WHAT'S WORKING
 • WiFi should work as expected.
 • 3G/GPRS/EDGE Data and Calling
 • Audio
 • Touchscreen as well as the S-Pen (proprietary S-Pen Apps by Samsung are not included and would'nt work anyway.
 • Sensors should work. (ie. at least GPS is confirmed to work properly)

KNOWN BUGS
 • Bluetooth is unstable. Don't rely on it just yet
 • Battery Usage doesn't work.
 • MTP Mode does not work. You need to push/pull files via adb
 • Camera doesn't work. Will be that way until we can get our hands on a ICS leak for the Galaxy Note
If wanna try it out:

I found this on POCKETNOW.COM :

The Samsung Galaxy Note is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 in early 2012. The proprietary software incorporates elements from both a smartphone and tablet device, specifically in landscape mode. Samsung did not hold back when they decided to bundle great software suites onto the Galaxy Note. While most of the apps have been seen before on Androids such as the Galaxy S II, many are unique to the Galaxy Note. The best apps included are the email, Video Maker, AllShare, Readers Hub, Social Hub, Mini Diary, Polaris Office, and, exclusive to the Galaxy Note, S Planner and S Memo.

I got an icon on my note S choice, when I click it says
get the latest samsungapps foirst, what does that mean?
also can't save pic to my sd card
i had to take it out and use my computer
and the device gets hot, really hot

I doubt it'll be over the air for the international one if you're in the States, but I'm sure you can get it.

Its a March update. The Galaxy mini is on the 15th I think so I'm guessing the full size note will be the same time or just afterwards

It will pop up again in a few days or so, but if you cannot wait then you will need to install kies from Samsung (on a PC or Mac) and connect the phone. You will be able to update that way instantly.

You may want to wait for a while though since ICS from Samsung appears to be permanently bricking a number of phones. There is a known fix, but I don

You have 2 options, you can install a custom rom or you can wait for the official ICS for android.
If you install a custom rom of ics for the galaxy note, make sure you get the latest one.
I do advise you not to do so tough, because ICS roms are still very unstable.
I recommend you wait for the official ICS for the note.
In the meanwhile you can use a launcher with a ICS theme. (Go launcher for example)
