samsung galaxy note screen

[W388y2011]

hi just wondered it the screen 1080p or 720p

[sjael]

It's actually '800p' - 1280x800. Just a bit larger than 720p (1280x720.)

So this is a higher resolution than the Galaxy Nexus, which is 720p right?

Not really, it's just a little more "square" shaped. And being so much larger, the quality will likely be slightly worse (though still great).

It's 80 pixels wider (in portrait mode) so yes, it's higher res. Not by a great deal though.

And the Nexus's screen has about 10% greater pixel density so it'll look ever so slightly sharper.

But on the Nexus you lose about 80 vertical pixels 90% of the time to the nav bar.

I'll take the Note with the 80 pixels and sd card slot. Thanks guys!
