Samsung galaxy s vs desire

Hey folks
very much in dilemma over going for one among these two.

Samsung galaxy s vs HTC desire.
though spec says the galaxy guy is very much powerful compared to htc desire, but at the same found few issues related to GPS on galaxy s.

not sure about the support from samsung.

do need some help and light on the same on deciding the right one.

Let me tell with the few issues you have with gps the galaxy s is an amazing phone best phone I have ever had I will say the only thing that sucks about the galaxy is the software that comes with it for the pc but hopefully they will fix this in an update
