Help samsung galaxy s2 camera flash may hav a prob

does anybody has a prob while taking pic from samsung galaxy s2 along wid using flash. Wheneva i tak a pic (while flash is on) the pic over illuminates and thus it show only half of the pic clearly and rest of the half as a bright white light.But i do get a clear pic without using da flash.
idk, either it is a hardware prob or a firmware update or some sort of camera settings?????
does any1 feel da same.....

The galaxy s2 flash is ludicrously bright but Ive tested it out in the fields of Glastonbury free from any unatural light and the result?.... disapointing.

The camera has several different settings built into it, try with different scene settings. That night shot is pretty cool, I don't know what you were trying to get a picture of.

No I haven't had a problem as bad as that!! Sometimes the flash over saturates the picture with light but this seems a different isue.

M not sure but I think dis always happens when I tak a snap irrespective of any type of light ( I mean if it is low light then it is some wat better but not enough clear but when it has bright light then it shows almost 100% white foreground)

I tried diff scene mode but unfortunately no sucess (or may b m missing somthin more), da pic is just a sample to discribe mah prob more clearly.......its jst a L-table.....

Are you using a case?

Some cases are horrible at picking up the light at the LED and transfering the light to the lens area. Try a picture with flash with no case and see.

Thanks man, it indeed it worked, when I removed da case n took a snap it was crystal clear....but it doesn't make any sense coz da case which m using has empty area around da camera n flash, so it is not at all related.....mayb some sort of sensor in da cam.... anyways the conclusion is ur advice worked but still wonderin how......

The case is definitely reflecting your flash cuz the same thing happened when i accidentaly covered my digicam's flash with my fingers .. I really dont think it's got anything to do with the sensors
