Samsung Galaxy s2 help

Hi Everyone

im new to android and came across this great forum however i need some help if anyone can.

I have a samsung galaxy s2 and my calls seem to drop of for no reason it could be as soon as a couple of seconds or a couple of minutes and happens with nearly every call my wife also has this phone and it happens with her phone also the phones were bought at different times and from different outlets.

i have been on the samsung website for support but theres no firmware or software upgrades for this phone that i can see also in the settings menu on the phone it says there are no updates for this phone i have also installed kies but nothing.

any help/pointers would be much appreciated as it is doing my head in

regards

keith..

Husband and I both have the SG s2 and at first never lost a call, but now 9 months in to using them through Straight Talk calls are dropping off. Usually happens when the call first connects or within the first few minutes of the call. I've been searching for someone else who has had this problem and what to do, it is very annoying.

I got my s2 from Saudi and my android version is 2.3.5
its gingerbread.jpkj2
I treid to update it through kies but iam getting the following error
"your device current firmware not supported to update via kies"
please help me
