The big II at the bottom surely indicates it is for the SII, and the phones will be available shortly after that. At least we know they are coming soon. Why have a big announcement event and not announce the release date?

Samsung will probably announce the release date, but that doesn't mean the Verizon release date is August 29th. Your thread title is misleading.

Samsung will most likely make an announcement when they are going to release their phones but for them to release SG2 on the 29th is probably not going to happen without a miracle.
