Help Samsung galaxy s2 update problem

I have Android 4.0.4 on my galaxy s2. Yesterday (4 december 2012) i turned on my wi-fi and it showed to me that a new firmware update is avaible. It started to download it but because i had low battery i stopped the download.I recharged the battery then i turned on the wi-fi again and it said that no update is avaible....How can i solve this problem. I think that was android 4.1 or 4.2.. and i want it

Try turning your phone off and on again. this can sometimes kick the update process back into life but I hate to disappoint you, its not going to be either 4.1.2 or 4.2 I'm afraid.

4.1.2 is only in a leaked form at the moment, and 4.2 would be 6 months away at best, if at all.

Hawker is right, (it hurts for me to say that), but it will not be the Jelly Bean update yet.

Don't worry, you're not the first person to get excited about the possibility...
