Phone would recognised who I was texting and would offer words I have already used for that person .after software update dec 2013 it doesn't do it anymore. Many thanks.

Check if there are any new updates for the Samsung keyboard, if that doesn't work I suggest you use a third-party keyboard like SwiftKey, it's much better anyways and it never has that annoying lag feeling the Samsung keyboard has, I highly suggest you check out SwiftKey Keyboard on the Google Play store, there is a free trial for it!

i never knew the samsung keyboard did that. Thats pretty cool. Maybe it just needs time to learn the words again?
