Samsung Galaxy S3...

I dunno. That press conference was pretty underwhelming. After all the hype, I was expecting something stellar. Hardware wise, it's full of meh. Software wise, it's looking very pretty. I love that PiP-style feature.

Well, the London Symphony Orchestra had to be a pretty penny to have there and pretty cool for them to have a live orchestra.

At the same time, I agree about it being a little underwhelming. Then again, I kinda feel that way about all of these press conferences.

I like the hardware of the SGS3 better than the SGS2. The software was definitely cool, but until I see it work in "real life" situations (e.g. S Voice in crowded restaurants with noise all around or in the car. Facial recognition in extremely low lit areas. etc...), I am still as skeptical as I would be for any "new" software that's been developed.

It all was definitely enough for me to consider waiting until after the SGS 3 and MoPhoQ are announced before I decide between the 3. And the SGS 3, assuming Sprint doesn't make crazy changes and offers the same different options, has become a bigger contender for my next upgrade than I initially thought.

I can't wait until CTIA. Hopefully we will get some information from Sprint the GS3 and the new Photon.

I can't get too excited otherwise I'd drive myself nuts and waste my upgrade. Need to wait for LTE first.

I have no idea when I'm LTE here, so I'm in no real hurry to upgrade myself. I can wait. Plus I want to wait until my phone gets ICS.

Anybody curious about the wireless charging? They are utilizing Resonance Charging, which means the device doesn't have to be touching the charging pad and can be a set distance away and still charge.

I'm kind of meh on the GS3, i'll have to wait and see before I go and shell out a couple hundred bucks for it...

Still leaning towards a Sprint version of the Note as my next phone, if they launch it with ICS...I got buddies with the Note and thats the biggest gripe that half the apps don't work or look right because of the lack of ICS

If they launch that at all lol

If they launch that at all lol

qft...if that's the case I have no problems waiting, something shiny and new and better ALWAYS comes around, I'm quite happy with my Photon but was waiting to see if Sprint would get a version of the Note...

or I could always just wait another year for the GS4

Here's a size comparison next to the Epic Touch. IMO next to the Epic Touch the GSIII is gorgeous.

I'm not going to lie. I love the GS3 design. The pebble blue looks nice. But I'm picking the EVO LTE over this.

And hopefully Sprint continues to allow you to remove bloatware. On some of Sprints newer phones you can remove quite a bit of it, thankfully.

+1 for this. On my E4GT I can remove whatever bloat I want to, and I'm still running it stock. Needless to say, only Sprint TV and Sprint Radio are left, and even those might go out the door since I rarely use them enough to justify keeping them around.
