Hello guys so I bought this Galaxy S4 that's motherboard has problem that it's overheating. Any idea of the problem? But that's not my main question. My main question is that the phone's LCD is not working correctly! It doesn't work unless I charge the phone for like 5 hours. After 5 hours of charging I can turn on the phone and the LCD works. Now that's all great and stuff untill I tried with another motherboard. Same problem. So it's not the motherboard's fault, not the charging port's fault. So the LCD is damaged? I have no idea, because after 4-5 hours of charging the phone the LCD starts to work, but otherwise it's black like it's death. Anyone got anwsers?

Thanks in advance!

In your other thread, you mention a crack in it. Sounds like the phone has impact damage, and needs a new screen. And if it's overheating as well. Sounds like it's had it, and this S4 is due for that great recycling bin in the sky.

No no The Galaxy S4 thread is completely differend thread. I own both phones with problems. My galaxy S3 is working today no sign of pink screen anymore...

Hi Smaxie, from your explanation - you have replaced the motherboard and the battery? I take it from that - that you disassembled the phone yourself to change the motherboard? Has your Power button given any problem at all?
Otherwise as suggested by mikedt - you may have a damaged LCD/screen assembly or a bad connection to the board.
