Samsung galaxy s4 or nexus 5

Thinking of checking out the Samsung galaxy s4 for metro (next week?)(if it's not too tooooo pricy). Or should I wait on nexus 5? (not in a hurry)

The Nexus would not have an sd card slot, and will probably only be offered in a 16GB version. So if you plan to store a lot of stuff in your phone, you have to consider that.

Waiting until the Nexus 5 means waiting until at least October if not November or December. Plus we have no official idea who the manufacturer or specs will be of the device. Just something to keep in mind.

It might be LG since the rumors suggest that it is, but we don't know for sure. They are just rumors after all, and we'll know more in a couple of months.

You can't do that with technology.

For example, Galaxy S4 or Nexus 5. You wait a couple months until the Nexus 5 is announced/released towards the latter half of the year.
You see rumours of the new HTC or Samsung flagship. You wait until they're released next year. Then when they're released, you see another phone later that year that is expected to release and you wait again. The cycle continues until you realize you wasted so much time trying to get the best device while you could've gotten a great device a year ago and be able to upgrade next year.

My argument above may be invalid rolleyes, but if you can get the S4 and you like it, then get it. If you don't like it, then that's when you should consider waiting for the next Nexus.

Well put. In this world of technology, if you wait for the next big thing, you'll be waiting indefinitely.
