Samsung Galaxy S4 Shipping Status Thread

I am with Sprint and a Sat date is fine with me. If mine came on a Thurday I would end up taking off Friday :D as I would be up so late fooling with it and transferring everything over.

I haven't received a tracking number email yet. However when I log into my AT&T account and click on my orders the tracking number is right there.
 
I just got an email from Amazon to say that there is a delay for dispatch for the S4 and will not be able to deliver on my original delivery date of the 26th April.
Instead it stated that delivery would 27th April.

Going from these dates it just looks like there releasing the same day as most.

So how it will be delivered on the same day its released I have no idea.

Thus, not expecting it until Monday or Tuesday :(
 
I got the same - to be received on Thursday from ATT!

Thing is, though - I'm prob the only one hoping that my case comes in the mail first 'cos I was hoping not to use it until I had a case. :)
 
Now it looks like the FedEx package won't be delivered until 7 PM Thursday evening. At least, that's what the FedEx package tracking web site says. Too bad the store is closed at that hour.

Left Fort Worth, TX at around 11:30 AM. It's got to get all the way up to Ohio. And that's a lot of ground to cover for a semi-truck.

And here I am, scheduling an in-store appointment to activate the device and it may not even be there until the next day.
 
I still have no other information from Vodafone UK about my shipping status, Tracking still not working with my tracking number, all I know is it's first come first serve and the first bunch of pre-orders will be sent out for Friday 26th !

From my experience with online retailers in the UK, they only update preorder status once they're shipped. I'd be very surprised if they provided you with a tracking number already and if they did, would most likely mean they're just getting the items ready to send out in a big batch on Thursday. Try it Thursday evening after 6pm, should work then.

If you got a tracking number then it simply means they have created the shipment online and printed the sheet of paper. The tracking number will become available online once the carrier actually picked up the delivery and scanned it in first time.
 
Just had a text from three UK saying that they cant deliever the 26th now and are working with samsung to get them by the 3rd May. I phoned up to ask why and was told that the every carrier in the UK was the same and the release date for UK is now 3rd May.
Anyone know anymore about this?
Please someone tell me its just three messing about.

Vodafone representative on the Vodafone forums still says 26th April and that was 11:53am today the comment was made.
 
Could it just be that Three are behind the other networks? I preordered the first day the phone was made available and on all the websites I checked, the three network wasn't initially on the list and was added at a later date.

I think the supply of the S4 is going to be bad for a while. Considering the usual choke point is the higher storage versions, out of the gate the 16GB ones are constrained. As a result, not looking good for 32GB versions, it seems.

The fact that I work for FedEx does not color my opinion of those Brown guys at all!

Got my tracking number today. Delivery tomorrow by 3pm. Go Purple!:p
 
They shipped my phone yesterday morning but as of yet my credit card has not been charged. Anyone else with their phone shipped not been charged yet?

My AT&T bill does have the activation fee on it already though.

I pre-ordered through AT&T and was pleasantly surprised when a April 30 ship date became an April 23 ship date. Especially since I am sporting a HTC One X with a cracked screen :)

Vodafone UK Statement

At the moment we have more pre orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 than we’ve had devices from Samsung. What we have will be delivered on Friday. We’re working closely with Samsung to get more phones and we’ll update you as soon as we’re able.

If you’ve pre-ordered you’ll be first in the queue as soon as more stock arrives. We’ll email you to let you know when you can expect to get your new phone.

As soon as Samsung let us know when they can deliver more stock, we’ll update this thread.
