Help Samsung Galaxy s5 Active not sending or receiving texts

I have AT&T. Last night, out of nowhere, my phone started acting up. Originally it would repeatedly freeze to the point I would hAve to take out the battery and it wouldn't send or receive texts. Now the freezing has stopped but it still is not sending or receiving texts to anyone. It will say sending and having the circle go until eventually it will just say failed to send. I will random get a text, but often it's hours after it was originally sent to me.

I have tried removing the SIM and SD card and putting it back in, turning on and off airplane mode, restarting the phone, removing the battery, and checking the message Centre code

Please help!
