Samsung Electronics Co. unveiled on Thursday at IFA 2010 the Galaxy Tab, releasing the official specs for their first tablet. Another device has been added to the growing tablet market where the fight for supremacy is constant and Samsung Galaxy Tab stands as a rival to the popular Apple iPad.

I want one too, just hoping theres an alternative to vodafone in the uk. Using one of their 3G dongles to write this, and it is absolute cack! Signal is terrible seemingly in every hotel i ever stay in while away working!

Did I read this right?? They are only selling a 3G version and it will be sold through carriers so I'm assuming you have to buy a monthly plan with your Tab purchase?? If so that is a huge mistake. Why pay for 3G when you can tether your existing smartphone when needed?

Actually, does anyone know the breakdown of iPad sales 3G vs. wifi

I would assume they are selling more wifi by far, but I'm usually wrong on this stuff

I am so happy to see that the home screen can be displayed in landscape mode which is big to me. I wonder if it is because of Froyo? Does anyone know?
