I found a way to do it pretty easy, it is in German(I think) but follow the pictures and works like a charm!!!!

This rom (5.0.2) work good. No more retail mod. Fingerprint work too.

A minor but rather important point...

There will be NO warranty support from Samsung for "Retail Mode" devices reflashed with stock firmware, as these are store demo devices never intended for retail sale. The device ESN will identify it as such, so there's no way to hide it.

Definitely a case of 'buyer beware'... great so long as you know what you're getting, but not so good if you don't.

thanks for your help, I finally removed the Retail Mode and by now my Tab S (sm-t700) it's working like a Charm.

If the ability to enable debug mode is greyed out, is there another way to enable debug mode in order to make use of adb?

If your demo tablet originated from BestBuy, the administrative password is "blue" without quotes. See, i.e., http://kollins.com/wp-content/uploa...st-Buy-Tablet-Retail-Demo-Instructions_v3.pdf. I can confirm that this password worked on a Galaxy Tab S 8.4 running KitKat.
