Help Samsung Galaxy Won't conncet to internet

hey everyone, i recently bought samsung galaxy s 2 and i wanted to

access internet through my pc ( not through the phone itself)

and i couldn't do that, so i wonder if anyone of you know about

the program that enables smartphone to connect to internet thorough pc ?

Usually people want to tether internet connection from a phone to a PC, I'm not sure the other way round is even possible. Correct me if I'm wrong please

pc , but I haven't figured it out yet.

Do you want to connect the SGS2 to the PC with a cable to use the internet on the phone? If so I think upgrading to wifi is a better alternative.

If you're running windows 7, Virtual Router (Virtual Router - Wifi Hot Spot for Windows 7 / 2008 R2) will share your PCs network connection via a wi-fi hotspot which can be connected to with your phone. Works well, and is free.

thank you all, yes virtual router fits what i need but the problem is that i have

Windows vista, so i think that i should install Windows 7.
