samsung galaxys vibrant upgrade

i am thinking about buying a samsung vibrant . i live in canada,the bell one .and i am just wonderin if i buy it will i get a update to 2.2 or do it have to come on the phone .because i know the one i want to buy comes with 2.1 and i dont wanna buy it and for 2.2 to come out in a few week after or will i be able to update it to 2.2 ?

in simple terms can i buy the phone with 2.1 then will it upgrade to 2.2

hahahahahaha, they dont feel like giving out 2.2 so maybe one day next year they will release it

get kies it will update you to gti9000 froyo your phone should be a gti9000 so it will pull the international version of froyo but you will get your update here soon where as my vibrant wont have ota froyo till mid feb

The international galaxy s version of froyo does not work on vibrant.

yeah i already tried the update and it says my phones not supported.
