i tried to set up google account but it keeps saying; it may take up to 5 mins...then you dont have a network connection. but i am connected to my wi fi Belkin? what am i doing wrong?

Can you go onto internet and surf web pages on your "W" whilst using your Belkin?
This will confirm that you are fully connected to your wifi.
