Samsung Gear 2 Advice

I've been on the fence on getting a smartwatch but sort of leaning towards getting one now only because there are some deals. Came across an a guy on Craigslist selling his 2 month old Gear 2 for dirt cheap. He's an older guy who's just trying to get rid of it because he switched to the iPhone6. He said he's not trying to make money off of it but just getting rid of it. He even has the receipt to prove the purchase at Best Buy.

Those who own Gear 2's, are you happy with them? Are they better than say the Gear Live, LG G Watch, Moto 360, or Pebble Steel? Reviews I've seen have been mixed. Should I wait for models next year? I'm suppose to meet with this guy later tonite so trying to decide if I should go for it. It'll be paired with a Note 4.

I would expect so, yes.

I don't have a Gear 2, but my Smartwatch 3 can pair with other BT devices e.g. a headset while remaining linked to my phone.
