Help Samsung GSII just shuts off??

I have a VM GS2 that will once a day just shut off. I can turn it back on but would like to know if anyone knows of any apps that could cause this. It is still stock. I contacted Samsung and they suggested running in safe mode to rule out the phone. I am hoping it is just an app. so if anyone might know what apps could cause this let me know.

Unfortunately these things are usually like great unexplained mysterys of the world. Best but definitely not easiest thing to do would be to factory reset and run the device for a few days, after that you can start adding apps one at a time to see if you can replicate the problem and then uninstall the offending app. Good luck and let us know what you come up with.
