Wondering what people who've owned Samsung's before think of the actual phone? I know it's minor part but I still do use mine as a phone. I'm actually thinking of the GNex as a work around to the other phone Co's F'd up software/bloatware. I have a DX now, and I've owned only a few Motorola phones before but as a pure phone I've not been the least bit impressed and unhappy almost to the point of getting rid of it. I also hated the GB update Moto put out as it took my perfectly working phone and screwed it up for a few months. Don't really want to root. thanks in advance.

I like the build of Samsung phones. People say they're plasticky but even being plastic, they're very solid. I have a Thunderbolt as well and I think my Fascinate is leaps ahead in build quality.

I should also add that I've dropped my Fascinate dozens of times from heights as high as my car and it's fine. Only marks are peeling chrome on the charge port. I dropped my Thunderbolt one time and I needed an Insurance replacement.
