Sounds like more user, more demand for custom rom! Win win for all of us. I hope cricket version will not be locked like ours

I don't really see the point of that phone on Cricket, it says in the article they don't even have any LTE network?

I don't think that a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and a slide out keyboard will make people run out and buy that phone for $350...

From what I've read the phone is identical with the exception of the 4G chip/antenna. The Cricket version will not have 4G capability but otherwise it's the same device.

I wonder what their idea behind that decision is: metro has it... We always have their phones and try to one up them. Then to the execs: Guys, this is important!! It's a matter of life and death! We need the phone!!!

I read that it will be the exact same device so it doesn't have to go through any more testing with the FCC. The LTE functionality would just be left unused.
