Samsung Indulge on Cricket soon

I don't really see the point of that phone on Cricket, it says in the article they don't even have any LTE network?

I don't think that a 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and a slide out keyboard will make people run out and buy that phone for $350...

From what I've read the phone is identical with the exception of the 4G chip/antenna. The Cricket version will not have 4G capability but otherwise it's the same device.

I wonder what their idea behind that decision is: metro has it... We always have their phones and try to one up them. Then to the execs: Guys, this is important!! It's a matter of life and death! We need the phone!!!

...and who knows, if the cricket version is less restricted and/or easier to break, then we might be able to facilitate native wifi tether and such much sooner than we thought, right?..

I put a Pheonix Arizona zip code and the price was 309.99

Here is an old document that may interest some of you SCH-R915 |

Edit: It seems I was wrong. The LTE chip was removed in the cricket version. You can see it in the screenshots here Samsung Indulge and Huawei Ascend 2 for Cricket hands-on - Engadget Galleries

Wouldn't it be awesome if the 3g speeds on Cricket matched our current "4g" Metro speeds :D
i heard Cricket's 3g network is crowded and slow... but that's just hear say.
