Samsung Irony

I've been seeing those Samsung commercials on TV lately, and the other day I was totally struck by the Irony.

Here is a commercial making fun of the iSheep waiting on line for "37 hours" for the "latest and greatest" when the guy walks up with his SGII and says, essentially, my phone is better and it's already here.

Anyone else find it completely ironic that a bunch of us are waiting around virtually for a phone to come out, and it's a Sausung?

Just saying...

The thing about about "waiting around virtually" is ......you're not really waiting around at all.

We've continue to go to work, school, pick up our kids, go on vacations, etc. during this time.

So I'd have to say, honestly, the irony is lost on me.

I completely see the irony. What's worst is that we're waiting for the next best thing, and Samsung is telling us that it's here already, it's the SGII. What is our problem!? Hahaha. #thatawkwardmomentwhen

the only time i waited was for it to ship to my house...
so no, i don't see the irony.
when you have 3 different big companies involved (Samsung/Google/VZW), things like this should be expected. and it's because of this that you can't really point the finger at just one of those.

I've tweeted at Samsung a few times using #stillwaiting in place of the #stopwaiting hashtag they've been using.
Ha! They don't care about that though (they filter their twitter feed), we did all kinds of hashtags back with the whole GPS fiasco with them last year, and they (the Samsung Service twitter people) claimed to have never even seen the tweets.

Now, that I see!

Hahahahaha
