I have a problem with my Ace 2 when I try to connect it to Kies on my laptop, the computer will not recognise the phone being connected and have tried all USB ports, in Device Manager it doesn't report a problem, however I have tried Kies Air and it connects without any problem but cannot update it, I have also loaded the Samsung Driver several times but it strill will not connect, anyone got any good ideas or a solution ?

No suggestions but having just upgraded the firmware to 4.1.2 on the Ace 2, I too cannot get Kies to connect.

I had trouble connecting, ran a factory reset on my phone and now it connects flawlessly every time again.
How did you backup your stuff if you couldn't connect?

Are you using Windows? If so what version.

There's some additional drivers you need to download if you're using XP but if you've also tried Win 7 then that won't be a problem. Hmm, apart from reinstalling Kies I can't think of anything else, sorry.
