I am just curious here, how many of you have installed the Kies software on your computers and used it with your Captivate?
More specifically, how many of you have used the tethering option in the software? I've tested it out on my netbook and laptop, and I can use the Captivate as a tether through that software with no problems. I know that there are other ways to achieve this post-rooting...but I was wondering, do any of you know of any potential trouble which may come from tethering through the Kies software? While it may be unlikely, I don't want to use this mode of tethering and then get a huge bill from ATT. It seems almost..too easy. lol
