Samsung Mini Kies Update

So I checked this morning, and Samsung Mini Kies automatically updated upon launch. It went from, this is the difference in versions, 10104_1 to 11011_4. Now when the firmware check begins, it doesn't say already latest version, it now tells me unregistered device. But I registered my device with Samsung. So not sure what that really means, just reporting my findings. No update for regular Kies that I found today, says already latest version there too.

I havent used Kies so im just asking. Which one works with US phones? I heard regular does not.

Well, the original Kies worked until it was updated. Mini Kies is supposed to be our choice, in fact it is what Samsung refers you to download to get the JI6 update.

I just updated my Mini Kies and it also shows my phone as an "unregistered device." I don't think this should make a difference when updating firmware but time will tell. Hopefully, we will get to try it soon on another update.

I am having latest 11014 nut still it gives same error...
