My father has been having this problem for months now with his Moment. He had Sprint send him a new (well, refurbished) one but he's still having the same problem. I'm going to have him do this update and hope it helps.
If it's an update issue, then that will explain why the "new" phone has the same problem - they usually come without any updates at all.
Does anyone know what the version numbers or whatever change to once the problem is resolved? I want to make sure he's on the updated to the right one.
