Samsung MovieHub on Note2

Not sure where to post this but I'll try here just in case.

As part of an offer when I had my Note2 and my wife had her Gs3 we've received 2 codes each to the value of £10 (per code). These codes are for use in the Samsung MovieHub.

So far my wife has downloaded her 2 movies and ive got 1 so far. The movies download onto our respective devices but I was wondering if amd how we can have each others movies ? Is it as simple as locating the downloaded files and copying them yo the same location on the other device ? (It does say we can watch on up to 5 devices)

The other thing I wonderdd was whether anyone knows how I can watch these files on my Nexus7 ? The files are in an odd format, which ive enables in MX Player and the movie does show up but when I try to play it I get a 'cannot play this fike' message.

Does anyone have any ideas on either ?

Thanks all.....

I imagine that you can only share movies IF you and your wife has the same Gmail account. If you have different accounts, then i don't think that you can share legally.

I have no idea how to share the movie onto Nexus 7. I would like to know too, but it seems like the movie format is ONLY for Media Hub (aka Samsung device).

The Samsung Video Hub (or other names dependent on region) are DRM protected files. That means you are restricted to the amount of devices you can play them back on as well as the devices themselves. You can't just download them on one device, transfer and play them on another device. They are locked to the device it was downloaded to.

They are NOT linked to the Google account. They are locked to your Samsung account. This is a pain as it means you need to delete your Samsung account, add you wife's, download and enable your device under her account. Then delete her Samsung account and put yours back in. Samsung is not like Google, where you can have multiple accounts and logins. I unfortunately use a method not to be discussed in working around this restriction.
