Help Samsung Note (1at gen)

Just got a Samsung note first generation and can't figure out for the life of me how to turn of the text message preview that pops up whenever I get a message. Ideas?

Its so long since i used samsung but it should be in Messanger app>settings>notifications?

I was an idiot and looking at settings within a message. Just needed to be at the general settings screen
