Help Samsung Note 2 trouble

Here's the problem. I bought a T mobile note 2. It is rooted model sght889. It was running fine then one night the battery went dead. I plugged it in to charge and then it would not turn on. Changed battery with girlfriend's battery. No help. I did the up button home power try and now it says no os system installed. I am not sure how to fix problem any ideas would be appreciated. To be truthful I wish it was stock like my girlfriend's. Also I am totally unfamiliar with all flashing and other things so please be easy on me. Thanks in advance for any help. I love the phone but it's not working

You need to install cwm recovery
(See xda forums)
Then install jedi-x rom v 20
It is based on stock, it is rooted, but you can un root it if you want, but id keep it. And you should be good to go.

Check xda forums tmobile note ii forum and the directions will be there.
