Someone should really look into this...it seems so many ppl need it fixed but no one is willing to look into fixing it

Okay, you will not have roaming if you change your PRL. No Tower blindly gives you service when the phone connects to them. The Tower, roaming agreement one or a Sprint one will ask the Sprint network if your device has an active account. When your account is looked up to be a Boost account (which is not covered by roaming agreement) service will be denied on the roaming network tower.

Not if you are wanting to connect to a roaming tower.

If you were to go Sprint's pay as you go service you can be covered by roaming (that is what I read from their website), but it costs more and still excessive use of a roaming tower would get the account canceled.

Now from what I have read, Nextel towers are being converted to 3g/4g towers for Sprint (Nextel going bye bye), and that should help Sprint coverage.

Not the ptt cause we use at race track and was just upgraded . Now its faster and better  and also use for work with xfinity

They are incorporating ptt into Sprint. Nextel is going bye bye.

I had Nextel long before most people had it. At first whenever I herd a beep beep it was me or one of the guys I worked with. It became very popular with many other companies using it, but then its popularity began to drop off as companies began to move off of iDEN Truthfully as other carriers advanced, the only thing iDEN had going for it was direct connect.

Boost has no roaming? I was always under the impression that it did. Idk why though lol

Also... Changing Ur prl will allow for roaming? And u can't get in any "trouble" over this?

Greg:
Changing your PRL won't allow for roaming.

Yes, Sprint has canceled accounts over too much roaming (Sprint has to pay for use of those towers).

Sprint has its own prepaid, but it is like 70 per month and includes roaming ability, but if you are on roaming towers too much they will drop you That includes post paid contract accounts too. Read the fine print when you look up their service on their website.

Very True, Sprint dropped my sister when she moved because of this issue - they just told her Bye after years of service & timely payments
