Help Samsung S2 I9100 no imei

alucid

Lurker
Any help would be great because im totally lost. I dropped my rooted phone into water and have had issues since. I put it into rice for the night, next day it wouldn't start up so i switched batteries and everything loaded up fine. Then I noticed i was getting no signal. Looked at about phone and baseband was unknown and imei was gone. Wifi was working fine. I backed up my efs files with software, so i have a efs image and folder. I then like a total fool did a factory reset and it would turn on anymore.
So i tried to root it again with firmware i found online with odin 1.85. It boots up as far as the samsung logo but thats it. I dont know what else to do. I have no any other ideas
The method i used to root the phone was this youtube video
"How to Root Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 Jelly Bean Android 4.1.1/4.1.2!"
I have attached the egs folder
Thanks

Hello and welcome to Android Forums alucid! :)

Your poor phone does seem to have been through the wars lately.

You could try re-rooting your phone by carefully and thoroughly reading the step-by-step guide and videos for absolute beginners in posts #1 and #2 of the Rooting Galaxy S2 - Dummies Guide to see if that gets you back on track.

However, if you are still having problems with your efs file, you could have a read through, "Recover your IMEI in 9 steps", over on the xda developers forum to see if that helps.
