Help Samsung s2 music player big problem, need help

I listen to alot of music on samsung, i download torrents onto an external sd card and play it off the music player.
But now the music player has a deleted half of the files from the library , eg i had 6 albums by brmc and they all played through smoothly,
now whenil i go in theres only two albums and one doesnt even.play (It says music player cannot support audio format)
The files have not been deleted because i go into my foles onto my sd card all the files are there and will play when i click into them.
Id really like if someone could help me fix this because i cant find a solution anywhere.

Seems like an issue with either the music player app or the media scanner app.

Try this first:
1. Clear cache and data of music player app
2. Reboot your phone
3. Wait for the media scanner to complete (about 10 mins).
4. Open your music player and see.

It wont let me clear the cache cause it aays there isnt any , also if i clear the data will it not delete my music ?
