Hi All

I have search the forum but cant seem to find an answer. I have a few Samsung s2 phones. One has just upgraded to the jelly bean yesterday, 2 are still waiting ,as it says no upgrade available But the one Im struggling with is stuck on version 2.3.4 and kies says its not supported.

The details it says is PDA:KH1/PHONE:KG5/CSC:KH1(XEU)

And all the phones are on orange here in the uk.

Wondered if anyone could help me to atleast upgrade this phone.

Thankyou

Hello and welcome to Android Forums Bwfc! :)

There are a number of reasons why that one particular phone has not updated from Gingerbread as detailed in #1.5 and #1.6 of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide.

However, this does not prevent you from manually updating the phone's firmware to Jelly Bean by downloading I9100XWLSS_I9100XEULS4 and flashing it via Odin by following the step-by-step guide and video contained in the link, #1.7, of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide.

It is fairly straightforward once you have read through it.

Hope this helps you.

Thankyou. Followed the instructions you gave and now all upgraded:)

Congratulations Bwfc! :congrats:

(I've said it before... and I'll say it again... this is why I prefer to help females rather than males. They tend to carefully and thoroughly read and follow instructions much better than males. It's true what women say about men... if you want to hide something from a man on the computer... just stick it in a file called, "Instruction Manual". ;) )
