Hey I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy s3 thinking it was a I-9300 but I received a SHV-e210l. Which I read was faster so hey that's cool. but it won't connect to Att. Tried calling Att but no luck. I think the phone has been rooted. I am not to android so any advice would be very helpful to get this thing to connect to ATT

Hello and welcome to the forums. May I ask is this a gsm device and does this gem device has a sims card and has been carrier unlocked to use on any gsm device

This is a gsm device and was advertised as "unlocked" and I have a SIM card in it now but have not been able to make any calls

You need to call at&t and register your sims card .

What happened when you power up the device with the at&t sims card

Just got off the phone with att they said they see the phone, (after I have them the imei number) confirmed the sim and everything even the pan and nada. I want to say this phone is rooted... And it's set to tmobile maybe.... Could that be the problem?

Just posted a link. Maybe this is what I need?? I updated my phone and did everything I could still can't get signal. I have a new battery otw maybe that might be the problem.

Try it but no I don't think and you tried the URL I gave you about converting what does it say since you converted post a screen shot
