Help samsung s4 mini wifi issue

Ok, so I've got a Samsung S4 mini GT-i9195 and It's rooted. The issue began when I updated the Android through Kies. Now it won't let me connect the wifi, whenever I turn on the wifi it jumps back to off.

I've tried several things.

1. I've done a factory reset. Didn't solve anything.
2. I've re-rooted it the same way I originally did. Nothing.
3. I've wiped the cache partition through the *#0011# menu. Still nothing.

I'm at a loss on how to solve the issue now.

Any suggestions?

Try reinstalling the latest stock firmware via Kies, do a factory data reset, then verify that all is as expected. If that's the case, root it again.

Kies will simply replace your firmware with stock, wiping your root in the process.

I can't seem to get Kies to reinstall anything. It only says that this is the latest firmware.

Iirc there's an option somewhere in Kies to do an "emergency firmware repair" (or similar wording) which might work.

Nope, tried that already.

In that case i think your only recourse is to reflash the complete firmware package with Odin. There should be guides on doing so in the Root - Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini sub-forum.
