Samsung screen issue: only effect new orders

So I ordered an Incredible on Tue 6/8 (right after the iPhone 4 keynote: I wasn't impressed). They estimated my delivery as Tue 6/29. I called about a week ago and it was still estimated as 6/29.

So with this whole Samsung screen issue, will I be getting the Samsung screen or will I be getting the second rate one?

Thanks!

i consider any LCD second rate when compared to AMOLED.

anyway, nobody but HTC (maybe Verizon too i guess) is sure when the switch to the SLCD will be made.

Has anyone got a SLCD yet? I really want to see a side by side comparison. Are there any out there just in general?

what i have been reading is that there is little to no difference in the screen. and no inc have shipped with the different screens yet, don't think they will till we get into july at the earliest. there's a link floating around

There will be a large difference (to people who notice the little things, like me) simply because lcd screens use backlights. The backlight tends to wash out colors and make black stuff appear dark grey.

you got it. amoled blacks are really black, lcd's are greyish. i can't wait for OLED TV's to take off.
