Samsung unveils the Continuum

I really liked the Fascinate with the exception of a couple of things... 1. the location of the power button , and 2. the syncing (or lack of) my hotmail account.

I know I wasn't the only one with email issues, has this been addressed and fixed with the continuum? I might be interested in trying this out if I know the answer. TIA

hmmm. I thought the hotmail thing was fixed with that last update. Mine finally seems to be syncing fine. What problems are you having exactly?

after the update, mine did seem to function better for awhile. Then I wasn't receiving my emails again, even when manually syncing. So right now I am back to my Dinc.

I was hoping to check out the Merge but who knows now when that will come out. I may go to Verizon tomorrow and take a look the continuum and droid pro.

The Droid Pro was very nice. I liked it a lot more than the other MOT Droids. It has such a small screen though.

As for the Continuum...I think you're just gonna get a lot more of what you already have with the Fascinate.;)

Phonearena released their review of Continuum. Overall they seem to like it as they found its GPS works better and signal strength better than SF. They also found the battery life is similar to SF. Still it's not clear to me if it's possible to stop those RSS feed programs in ticker display from running to save more battery life. I guess it's possible to remove those programs at least.

Samsung Continuum Review - Phone Arena

So it looks good for Continuum overall. My only gripe is the pricing. It should be cheaper than SF, not the same.
