I have had mine a couple of weeks now and so far I am pretty happy with it. This is my first smartphone and it fits my needs perfectly. I wanted an up to date Android handset that was comfortable enough to use but still small enough to fit in my pocket. The screen is bright, vibrant, colourful and very sensitive. Build quality is very good (though not perfect as on my unit the screen isn't 100% level with the trim along the bottom of the phone, but is only really noticeable if you hold it up to the light, flat and look straight down from the top of the phone but it's less than half a mm out, and the home capacitive button is slightly dimmer than the other three, but hey, nothing is 100% perfect).

Overall, I'm pretty impressed.

Actually I voted for the wife! I've had a Desire HD for a while and when the chance of an upgrade arrived for 'er indoors I tried to persuade her to go Android, but she went Nokia C3. Nice looking phone and with a touch screen as well as "normal" keypad.

The screen was pants and I could not get it to connect to the PC to sync with Nokia's Ovi Suite. I've been syncing this way for at least 10 years so I know all/most of the tricks but nothing worked. Took it back to VF the next day and, in the meantime, the missus decided for herself that she may as well enter the modern age! Went for the Wildfire S and she loves it now.

She can get email on the go (by that she means she doesn't need to move off the sofa to her PC!!) and likes Go SMS. Phone is a great size for her and build quality seems fine after a week. Persuaded her to get a hard case and screen cover though ...
